WOTADOLL’S win at Brighton yesterday, her second of the year, took the stable past the £1/2 million mark for the season.
The 3yo daughter of Harbour Watch, ridden by Robert Winston, was held up early on but came through with a powerful run inside the final furlong and won readily by four lengths from the favourite, Flowing Clarets.
Well supported into 9/2 third favourite, the David Meade owned filly appreciated the drop back to 5f on soft ground although her earlier win at Yarmouth back in July was over 6f on Good to Firm. She seems to have some versatility and there could be more to come even though she’s likely to go up several pounds in the handicap!
This is the third year running Harper Lodge Farm has passed the £1/2 million barrier.
