LIBRISA BREEZE, the top-rated horse at Harper Lodge Farm on 112, has been entered for the Group One Prix de la Forêt over 7f at Chantilly on Sunday 1st October.
The 5yo grey son of Mount Nelson, owned by Brighton football club chairman, Tony Bloom, has been running in good company this year, not always with the best of luck. Fourth in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot, he was then unplaced in the Group 2 Lennox Stakes at Glorious Goodwood and in both races he met significant trouble in running. He was then second in the Group Two Hungerford Stakes at Newbury.
While he has good form over 6f and a mile, seven furlongs is arguably his ideal trip, having won two big handicaps over the distance at Ascot last year, so The Prix de la Forêt looks tailor-made, especially with over 170,000 euros to the winner!
