LIBRISA BREEZE is being prepared for the Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot on Saturday 21st October and is a 14/1 shot.
The Harper Lodge Farm 5yo son of Mount Nelson is the yard’s top-rated horse in the yard on 112, winner of five races and over £330,000 in prize money. Owned by Brighton Chairman, Tony Bloom, the grey gelding loves Ascot having won two big handicaps and been runner-up in the Royal Hunt Cup last year.
Things have not always fallen right for him this year but “Librisa” has a great turn of foot and there are more big races to be won with him. The opposition, as one expects on Champions Day, will of course be fierce with Harry Angel, Caravaggio and The Tin Man likely opponents, so he’ll need to improve and record a career best to win.
Whatever the result, there’s a real buzz at Harper Lodge Farm as we’re delighted to have a horse good enough to compete at the highest level.
