HARLEQUIN STORM ran out a convincing winner at Chelmsford last night on his handicap debut over 6f under Robert Winston.
The 3yo son of Clodovil was quick out of the stalls and he was soon in front. After being headed four out, he was back in front at the half-way stage and despite wandering around, the 6/1 shot stayed on to win by two lengths from Bahamian Paradise.
This was only his fifth ever start and there could be more improvement to come from the grey gelding.
Congratulations to owners Harlequin Direct Ltd and D Bloy.
