Another WIN for Pledge of Honour

Another very exciting few weeks, with Dor’s Toyboy just getting beaten by a short head at Chelmsford.  It’s great to see him so consistent, clearly his two favourite tracks are Chelmsford and Lingfield and we shall be making another entry back at Chelmsford very soon.

Which leads us onto Pledge of Honour winning his best race to date at Doncaster, at the Racing League meeting, in the London and South Team.  Winning by two lengths in a much improved handicap race under the capable hands of Nicola Currie running his usual style of race coming from off the pace, clearly there is a big future ahead for Pledge.  He may return back to Sandown or perhaps in another London and South Team race at Windsor to try and get another win.  It gave all of us at the yard a great boost and shows that hard teamwork pays off.   The next ten days with no rain and the ground being very firm, also the lack of watering on the tracks, we will not be entering as many until I have more confidence that there is more ease in the ground and the horses can come back sound from their races.
