My father Ken was a successful jumps and flat trainer for thirty years and I’m the third generation, having taken over the licence at Harper Lodge Farm in 2002.
Training for me is a passion. I love the day-to-day contact with the horses, seeing them develop as youngsters, making their racecourse debut and then progressing into older, successful equine athletes.
We are very proud of the 115-acre private training establishment we have built up here in Hertfordshire with superb, state-of-the-art facilities for training the modern thoroughbred.
I know a trainer is only as good as the team behind him and it is largely down to them that we recorded our best ever tally of 42 wins in 2019.
